Adjust and Adapt

3 weeks out from Tarawera 100 miler and today I’ve got a 3 hour run. With wind chills in the minus 34 range, I will have to do my workout on the track and practice some of that mental toughness.

One of the things I love about ultra marathons is that we never know what is going to get thrown at us on race day and we have top adjust and adapt on the fly. The same holds true in life and this nasty weather is a good opportunity to practice adjusting and adapting.
